On the 20th, in KBS Music Bank’s waiting room B.A.P talked to us about their 4th Mini Album ‘MATRIX.’
“In the long time we’ve been away music show waiting rooms have changed a lot too. It’s our first live airing comeback stage so we’re really nervous. It also feels like we’ve gone back to being rookies so there’s also a fluttering feeling. There are also some things we find interesting. We only debuted in 2012 but we already have so many hoobaes [Juniors]. Back in the days there were lot’s of Sunbaes [Seniors] now that’s changed it feels a bit unfamiliar.” (Bang Yongguk)
B.A.P revealed their title track Young, Wild and Free from their 4th Mini Album ‘MATRIX’ on the 16th. This song had all the more meaning behind it because it was personally written, composed and produced by B.A.P’s leader Bang Yongguk.
“Instead of trying to prove something we simply relayed our story. Seeing as it is true to B.A.P and we made it ourselves I think it’s fun. Just the fact hat we can be on stage delivering our that is unique to us, I’m really happy.” (Himchan)
Their music video has gained 120,000 views in just one day since (the mv’s) release and has recieved lots of interest. Not only domestically, they have decorated China’s biggest video site ‘yinyuetai’s’ main and also showed potential by setting a record being #1 most viewed in Korea Music Video section.
“I am so thankful that the fans gives us lots of love. I think since our dongsaengs, Jongup and Zelo particiapted in choreograpy, more of our colors were able to come out. I am most thankful about the fact that we are able to stand on the stage again. Whether it was music shows, concert and even end of year awards, I always thought ‘I wish we were there too.’ The members together are still keeping up with steps and practicing.” (Daehyun)
Contrary from last Summer’s girl group wars, this coming Winter is on going with boy group’s debuts and comebacks. Nevertheless, B.A.P still showed confidence rather than worries.
“I think its better to be active with more boy groups. Doing activities with many groups has synergy effect. Watching them makes us think that we want to do a better job and it also gives us strengths too. We will only show you guys a good image with fruitful performances.” (Bang Yongguk)
Meanwhile, B.A.P, who released (their) 4th mini album 'MATRIX’ are planning to focus on their 'Young, Wild & Free’ activities for a while.
