[Note: This is his response to TS's statement released. He is Daehyun's former teacher.]
These statements are not the official statements of the members or an official statement as their representative. I am only upset about the situation the student I love is in and am uploading my thoughts only. So I won’t mention any specifics like names. Please believe and protect them til the end. #ForeverWithBAP
1. Regarding calculations
All I can see is them saying ‘they were going to earn more next year so why are you being like this’. Money may have been the biggest realistic reason for this issue, but the member’s minds are not on the money right now. The problem is about their unclear future.
They are the main money makers, but they don’t know what kind of work they are doing, how much they’re earning, how much they’re spending but they should just accept what they are given and just work? Isn’t that a slave?
The important thing is even if you simply think about it, you can tell the intentions are meant to be irrational and when asked for details about how things are going they won’t show any account details so how can they just accept however much they are given? How can they make any goals for the next one or two years? This is different from a fan’s love and popularity. Being a singer is a job and to have a job you must work and when you work you must be given the appropriate wage.
If the entertainment industry’s practice and customs are not reasonable then I think it should be changed. I hope you won’t think ‘why did you do that you could have earned money if you kept quiet’.
From the beginning of their debut to now, company investments and origins of outside investments need to be revealed. Exact expenses and profits on schedules, a statement of profit and losses, and company personnel expense details all need to be revealed. Not in words but by checking the account details and the flow of money in the account need to be revealed as well.
I think that is the proper account statement the members wanted.
Another thing that is curious is that this is a company worth $10 million but did they ever reveal any external examination details of the current account affairs or financial statements to the parents or the members, and if they have we need to confirm the details of those reports as well.
2. Profit distribution
From what I know, being paid the first 6 months of the year has changed this past July to being paid (at the lastest) every 45 days. If they wanted to settle the payments a different way, they needed to construct an agreement with the members to avoid legal problems.
I’m not sure if they made the agreement.
What doesn’t make sense is according to the company, they don’t include the investments made and they distribute profits with the net gain left over but if they say it’s not investments they received but the investments they made, it is understood that it would include the investments the company made. Everytime they have a promotion and have profits left over, the company will take the profits according tothe profit distribution then take how much they invested from the singer’s portion of the profit distribution?
We earned money together, but you guys pay back the investments, is that it? Is that why you have no money to pay them?
I may not have understood that portion but I think a clear account statement of profits will explain this part for itself.
The business where the company can easily not use external expenses takes 9:1 of profits and the business where the company cannot control the money going outside companies takes 5:5. There are barely any expenses and there is profit left over with the company taking 90% and giving the members 10%, but then they take that and divide it ⅙. I don’t know what the difference is from saying they expect a 4:6 profit rate and talking about ‘Point 1’ from their official statement and saying the first account statement would have been 15 times what they were expected to give them, which is $1.8 million. This is a solution for a problem in the past, and it is not presentation time for a company regarding expectations and plans for the future of the company.
3. Slave contract
There isn’t a company that doesn’t use a standard contract. They either change a few parts of that standard contract or attach agreements in addition to the contract. The law has changed because of the 90’s where either you’re not given a specific contract term and just base your contract on a number of albums you released but end up not being active at all or you’re signed onto a 10-15 year contract and have your freedom oppressed. To solve these problems the law has changed the contract term to 7 years. The Korean entertainment industry all have to have a contract term of 7 years no matter what. This is the practice and the harm that comes along with this is huge.
Among my students many of them have or had problems with their contracts. To be honest, dance team leader Park has a contract problem with one of my students and I really want to meet him. To see what kind of person he is…
Anyway, the slave contract is not focused on the 7 year length of the contract.
The important part is the kind of treatment they received after signing the contract. Don’t think of the thorough control and oppression of freedom as part of the management’s practice but think once about how you would feel if your children were living the same way and I think it’ll be easier for you to understand. I think human rights means you can enjoy freedom and responsibility like a human being. Of course, a special job like an entertainer means you won’t be able to enjoy all the freedom a normal person would but there is a line you shouldn’t cross.
This is not an issue of contract term length, but how they have been living their lives.
4. Trust Issues
Don’t you think the trust they had left in them was broken after their pay this July?
Trust is interacting. This problem did not only start between just one or two members thinking the same way, but rather the whole group that came together and came to a conclusion. On the side of one and another, I think the members did their best in the jobs they were given in order to keep the mutual trust for the few years.
We have to listen more to the latter’s statements but my personal thoughts are that there has to be a clarification and truth on if there were really no illegal matter in this issue.

As the end of this writing, this is not the member’s official statements nor is it a response/complaints towards the company.
This is just a letter of a teacher in which the student he values is in a difficult situation.
Since this is from an ordinary person, of course there will be mistakes.
But the important thing here is that this problem should be fixed however and as soon as possible and we have to/want to see the 6 members back on stage singing and running towards their dreams once agian.

And about this official statement, I think a lot of you guys are talking about raising funding money, but my personal opinion is that this is not the right time now to be collecting and sending money.
If anything, something happens and puts the members in a difficult situation, then maybe then they might need the help, but the members I know will probably give the money to charities.
I have mentioned this once before, but last year on Christmas they recieved an unofficial first break, but the leader said that on the first holiday break he worked on a recording til late morning and then went to an orphanage to volunteer.
This is the type of friends we are talking about.
There really shouldn’t be any problems, but if they come to a part when they really need the help then I think thats when they would be able to use some help.
But that won’t ever happen. Everything will be solved well.
If you are collecting money for a funding, then please do it where it won’t be a problem and whether this issue gets solved either by an agreement or by law then please donate to a good charity then.

And to put out another personal opinion out there, I think the official fan club/cafe and the fanpages should be organized. I couldn’t come up with more details, but I know it won’t be easy.
But as of now, I think we all need to gather our strength into one and we all need a channel where we are able to do that.
Since the official fancafe right now is ran by them, it can always be shut down whenever.

Anyways, I hope everyone cheers up.
You guys are seriously tying to hid the sky with your palms. After looking at your graphs, I have no words. Your expenses keep increasing? Did you raise the song prices, did you raise the ticket prices, did you raise the CD prices? Why are your expenses increasing. If you set a standard amount, would there be that much of a differences in expenses from their debut days? I guess the rest was your paycheck patooie(spitting sound)
I'm working right now so I don't have time but I'll make a post to organize everything! I don't believe in the account books you guys made. I'll believe in your tax invoices, your transaction deals, and the account books from the companies you had contracts with. And you wish you were the force (tn:.behind BAP). The fans who believe and cheer for them are the true force (tn:behind BAP)
I'm angry so I may not be making much sense but please understand. Anyways, everyone don't be scared and be strong!
